Challenge
Pray a Scripture verse over others. As you move around town, and go about your daily tasks, take time to pray Scripture over people/places you interact with or pass. Praying Scripture over someone can be silent to yourself, or it can be as you pray aloud with someone.
(Please exhibit safe driving techniques while praying and driving - i.e. don’t close your eyes.)
Tips
Sometimes we don’t know what to pray for, but God assures us the Spirit knows. “In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings." Romans 8:26
Here’s some Scriptures to help you get started.
Acts 26:17-18
Ephesians 6:12
Acts 16:14
1 John 1:9
Galatians 5:13
Colossians 1:13-14
Before You Begin
Ask the Holy Spirit what Scriptures you should pray and who you should pray for. Invite him to guide you. Pause to listen. Pray for anything the Spirit reveals or brings to your mind.
As You Pray
We can pray Scripture over someone in two methods. These can be internal prayers or prayers aloud as you engage with someone.
Read a passage of Scripture and pray for the topics/themes of this verse over the person. Example:
The theme of praying against darkness. “Father, I pray against the darkness. As you say in your word, ‘our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, and spiritual forces in the heavens’ (Ephesians 6:12).”
Read a passage of Scripture as if that person was the subject of the verse. Example:
Praying for the barista while I wait for my coffee. “Father, I pray that the eyes of [the barista]’s heart may be enlightened so that [the barista] may know what is the hope of your calling, what is the wealth of your glorious inheritance, and what is the immeasurable greatness of your power for [the barista] when they believe, according to the mighty working of your strength (Ephesians 1:18).”
After You Pray

Find a quiet place to record.
Find a place with lots of light shining on your face but not shining behind you.
Check your surroundings to be clear.
