Bearing burdens together in Christ
"Carry one another's burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Galatians 6:2
What is Soul Care?
The Christian life was never meant to be walked alone. And yet most of us know the quiet ache of a season that doesn't make sense — moments when we're wrestling with hard questions, or wondering where God is working in what we're going through.
Soul care is one of the ways we live out Galatians 6:2 together at Calvary. It's an invitation to bring what you're carrying to a pastor and be heard, prayed with, and pointed back toward Christ.
If you would like to meet with Pastor Jon Nitta, please complete the Soul Care Form below. You can expect a response in a few days.
A note about requests: Calvary receives many requests for soul care and counseling and desires to handle each one with great care and attention. Requests submitted through this form are initially reviewed and coordinated by Jon Nitta, Pastor of Soul Care. Depending on the nature of the request, and if the pastors determine it is a counseling matter, requests may also be directed to Steve Buchelt, Pastor of Care Ministries. We have an excellent team of pastoral and lay counselors and are also able to refer some requests to trusted counselors and professionals within our church and community.
