WHAT WE LEARNED
Because of God’s crazy awesome love for us, even though Adam and Eve - and all of us - disobey God, he had a rescue plan from the beginning. He sent Jesus to earth to live a sinless life, die in our place, and beat sin and death. His sacrifice rescued us from our sins and will one day make everything “very good” again.

TALK ABOUT IT
Here are the questions we talked about in snack time. Ask your child(ren) the questions and get a conversation going at home!
1. Who is the rescue man (savior) that God sent to save us from our sins?
Answer: Jesus
2. Because Jesus is the son of God, his life here on earth can teach us about God the Father. What was Jesus like? What did he do here on earth?
Answer: He was sinless, he healed people, he loved the unloved, died for us, etc.
3. What did Jesus do so that we can be forgiven of our sins and have a relationship with God forever?
Answer: He came to this earth, lived a perfect life, died on the cross in our place, was buried, and rose again.
Sin messed everything up, but God had a rescue plan. Our sin broke this word and God is not just fixing it, he’s restoring it and making it “very good” again. We have the chance to grab on to God’s rescue plan (Jesus) and be rescued ourselves.
