Children's K-5th Grade Coordinator

The Children’s K-5th Grade Coordinator leads the planning and implementation of Calvary Kids Sunday morning ministries. This role requires an understand of (and alignment with) Calvary Church’s mission (“experiencing the gospel changing lives forever”), vision, theological distintives, discipleship pathway, and strategies as they partner with parents and families to help lead children to a genuine sense of belonging, and understanding of the gospel, and ongoing spiritual growth.

The Children’s K-5th Grade Coordinator reports to the Director of Children’s Ministries and collaborates closely with others on the Children’s Ministries team and across the church, as needed. The Children’s K-5th Grade Coordinator will passionately champion Calvary’s team culture (keeping Jesus as the center, pursuing excellence that honors God, building one another up, and learning and growing together). They should actively cultivate a growing personal relationship with Christ and demonstrate integrity in their words, relationships, and actions as they serve the Calvary Church family.

Spend time playing with and caring for nursery-aged children or preschool-aged children while building community with fellow workers. Childcare givers clean up and sanitize the care rooms before leaving.
