Our Annual Numbers:
Giving to Calvary has continued to increase year by year since 2022, reflecting the growth in the number of people attending Calvary and our ministries. In 2024, we received almost $3,782,260 in tithes and offerings, a 15% increase from 2023. In 2025, our revenue and expenditure budget is $3,619,781.
As of June 2025, giving totaled $1,695,444, or 47% of the annual budget. Expenditures were slightly less at $1,668,055.
The Impact of Your Giving:
Here are four ways that your giving helped accomplish our mission in 2024:
Investing in the Next Generation: We have almost 500 children and students in our Children’s and Student Ministries each Sunday, and it has been encouraging to see so many of them responding to the gospel and growing in their faith. We also had 400 kids participate in VBS in 2025!
Being a Church That Cares: Spiritual growth often starts with healing and recovery. In 2024, our care groups served 229 people, providing supportive, Christ-centered grief care, post-divorce care, help with overcoming anxiety and addictions, and more. We’re on track to serve about the same number of people in 2025.
Growing Committed Disciples of Jesus: We are all called to live out the “one another’s”- to pray for one another, encourage one another, love one another. Our small groups are designed to be places where people can learn, grow, and do life together. More than 800 people are in group!
Sharing the Gospel Through Mission and Outreach: We’ve worked with local partners who compassionately serve vulnerable children, the hungry, the homeless, and refugees, care for those hurting, and share the gospel with those who need to hear it most. We also partner with mission organizations to take the gospel to the nations, and in 2025, Calvary members will or already have served in NYC, Uganda, Costa Rica, and Greece!
The Outward Initiative:
In 2022, we launched our Outward Initiative to reduce our mortgage debt and free up resources to share the gospel, care for people, and multiply healthy, gospel-centered churches in northwest Indiana. When we launched the Initiative, our mortgage was $4.5 million (down from $5.4 million in 2020). In June 2025, it was under $2 million. This means we have been able to pay off around $2.5 million in just over two years!
The impact is significant. We have been paying $29,265 in monthly payments for the past few years. Our monthly payment has now dropped to $15,007. This has released $14,258 a month (or $171,096 a year) to strengthen our ministry to those outside the walls of Calvary, both locally and globally!
In 2025, we’re making our biggest step yet toward campus multiplication. Keep up with the latest news, prayer requests, and FAQs
