Kids today are under so much pressure—to perform well, to be the best, to balance schedules that are full to the brim, and to excel in every arena. From that vantage point, life’s big game can seem like no fun. But when we step back, we realize that the goal is not competing in our own strength. When we trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord, He rescues us from sin and death, and He gives us everything we need to live a life that honors God! He’s given us His Word as the ultimate playbook—that’s where we find out that He’s given us hope and love! But He’s also given us the Holy Spirit, which is where we find the power to have joy no matter what the score is in life. He wants us to join His team, to train hard, to celebrate our salvation, and to spur each other on. So, what are you waiting for? Gear up. Get ready... game on!
