Pray for kids who first attended Calvary during VBS to begin attending church and bring their families.

Pray that parents who don’t attend church will come to Family Fun Night tomorrow.

Ask God to give strength to the leaders when they are weary and power when they are weak. (Isaiah 40:29)

Thank God that he already knows what will happen at VBS this year! Ask him to make a way for people to be there and to get rid of anything that would prevent them from coming.

Pray for the finishing touches preparing for VBS to go smoothly, details to fall into place, and for leaders and volunteers to rest well.

Pray that new families who attend the Summer Kickoff in the Park will sign up for VBS and continue to hear about God’s love.

Thank God for the security people who serve at VBS to keep everyone safe. Pray that God would bless, help and protect everyone at VBS next week.

Pray that kids will see the love of Jesus through the leaders and adults at VBS. (John 13:35)

Pray for kids to be welcoming to all children who are new to Calvary at VBS.

Pray for wisdom and energy for Krystal Luckey as she leads in the final week of planning and preparation for VBS.

Pray that children hearing the gospel for the first time will understand their need for Jesus and that children who hear it every week will also understand that they need to grab on to Jesus to rescue them.

Pray that prayer volunteers in the chapel will rely on the Holy Spirit to answer children’s questions about salvation.

Pray for the small children in the nursery and preschool VBS to be content and happy and for those caring for them to be blessed.

Pray for the leaders reviewing the story and talking about the gospel during snack time. Pray that the children will be able to slow down during this time to really understand the message.

Pray that children will receive Jesus and believe in his name this week. (John 1:12)

Pray that God would protect and keep every child safe in all the activities while they are at VBS this year.

Pray that kids of all ages will have fun as they learn about the God who created them, cares about them, loves them, forgives us, and keeps his promises.

Thank God for the people who do all the tech stuff for VBS. Ask God to encourage them and that all of the gadgets and equipment will work well.

Pray a blessing on all the snacks that will be prepared for VBS and the workers who will prepare them.
