I keep hearing about Large Group. What is it?
Large Group meets on Sunday evenings for middle and high school students. It is a time to gather together for fellowship, fun, worship, gospel-centered teaching, and Life Group discussions.
What time is Large Group?
Large Group for middle school students meets from 4 – 6p on Sundays. Large Group for high school students meets from 6:30 – 8:30p on Sundays.
What are Life Groups?
Life Groups are gender and grade specific groups that meet during Large Group time to talk about God and grow in faith together. Each Life Group has adult leaders.
Can my student bring a friend?
Yes! All students are welcome at Calvary. We believe everyone needs God and Christian community.
Will my student feel included?
We know walking into a new place can be intimidating so we are intentional about looking for new guests and those who seem on the fringe. We have a Connection Team of students who greet individuals as they walk in and check in with new students throughout the evening. If your student ever has any concerns, contact the Calvary Students team.
What camps/events does Calvary Students have?
We partner with Miracle Camp for retreats and summer camps throughout the year. We are also intentional about creating opportunities to serve locally and globally.
Where can I find the yearly Parent Consent Form (permission to participate & medical release)?
Click here to complete the Parent Consent Form.
We ask parents/guardians to fill out this form at the beginning of each school year. This form not only gives your student permission to participate in Calvary Student events, it also functions as a medical release form. Some events like offsite and overnight trips may require additional consent forms. The safety of your student is a top priority and we take every reasonable precaution to protect all students.
Where can I find forms for Events?
If a form or waiver is required for an event, it will be attached to the event sign-up.
