SERMON DISCUSSION GUIDE
April 20, 2025 | Josh Reasoner | Mark 16:1-15
Reframing Easter
Now is a good time for your group to share and celebrate the ways that your experiences of Lent and Easter have been reframed or how God has reframed other experiences for you during this season.
As you prepare for today’s conversation, quiet your hearts by praying through Psalm 22. Ask a group member to read the passage aloud slowly.
Ask a group member to read Mark 16:1-15.
How does the resurrection of Jesus reframe death for you? (1 Corinthians 15:54-57 might be helpful.)
How does the resurrection of Jesus reframe the way you live life now? Some things to consider: your perspectives and attitudes, your priorities, how you treat others.
Use the next questions for further discussion and prayer time together:
The resurrection is the ultimate transformational act; the power of God brought something dead to life. Where in your life do you need the power of the resurrection the most? How can we pray for and encourage you?
Where in your life have you seen redemption recently? Let your group rejoice with you!
