Interactive Media Coordinator email

One word that's important in my life is "intentional"—intentional about loving Jesus and serving others. After starting out as an intern for communications and global outreach, I was blessed to step into my role working on interactive media with the communications team. Here I've learned to be more intentional through writing, stories, and serving.

I'm definitely a creative, but I am also detailed-oriented and enjoy editing as well—a classic Enneagram 1 with a creative twist! God uses these two seemingly different personal qualities to make me into someone who is mission-driven, loves cultivating new skills and hobbies, enjoys serving in different ways, and loves people. So for example, I’m honing my photography skills as part of my job and you’ll often see me taking picture at events. And I love talking with the friends I’ve made in Calvary’s young adult community and hanging out making coffee and interacting with people at the coffee bar on Sunday mornings. (I also find it really satisfying to meet a deadline. See, mission-driven!)

In 2015, my family adopted my two younger brothers from Colombia and that experienced really opened my heart to global outreach. I'm originally from southern Illinois but fell in love with the Valpo community while I was a student at Valparaiso University.
