Bethesda Outreach Ministries
Bethesda Outreach Ministries exists to provide Christ-centered, family-style homes for the long term care of orphans in South Africa. HIV/AIDS has had a devastating effect on the family and has left behind millions of orphans who are trying to survive without proper love, teaching, or care. The children are raised by national Christian house parent couples who love the Lord and want to lead their children to the truth so that they will follow Christ. By placing these children with godly South African parents, Bethesda is trusting God to build strong families for His glory.
Every Child Ministries
Every Child Ministries provides hope, practical help, and dignity to African children and their families. In Uganda, thousands of children are affected by albinism, and almost all of them struggle to survive and thrive while facing significant, even life-threatening, discrimination. Calvary Church is partnering with ECM to help make reach communities where education about albinism and meeting the practical needs of families can make a real difference.
Haiti Children’s Village
KIDS ALIVE - HAITI
The country of Haiti is beautiful but the poverty is extreme and the need is great. The Kids Alive Haiti Children’s Village is there rescuing hopeless children, caring for them in family-style homes, providing a good education and vocational training for them, and teaching them about Jesus. Plus Kids Alive is impacting the surrounding community through outreach programs that serve families and children.
Mitaboni Children’s Home
KIDS ALIVE - KENYA
In 2011, Calvary committed to support the children at the Kids Alive Home in Mitaboni, Kenya, including their food, housing, and educational needs. Not only does Mitaboni provide for the daily needs of the children, the staff is also committed to caring for their spiritual needs. Children are learning to serve God and others. The children attend a local school and enjoy being part of the local church that meets on an adjacent piece of land. Kids Alive is also strengthening communities through the Keeping Families Together initiative in which relatives of children are located and families re-established with support.
Oasis Girl’s Home
KIDS ALIVE - GUATEMALA
Guatemala ranks third worst in the world in child nutrition and has become a leading participant in human trafficking. In both rural areas and cities, thousands of children are victimized through abuse, forced labor, and absolute neglect. In response to these needs, Kids Alive has developed a unique ministry as part of a system for rescuing, healing, and restoring girl victims of sexual and physical abuse. Residential care is provided, as well as emotional, spiritual and medical care the girls need to recover from sexual trauma.
