AMG International, Greece

Advancing the Ministries of the Gospel, or AMG International is a Gospel-first global ministry that meets the deepest needs — spiritual and physical — by inspiring hope, restoring lives and transforming communities.

AMG serves Greece through church planting, camp ministry, media evangelism (print, music, radio) and refugee care. It is based at the Cosmovision Center, (CVC) situated outside of Athens. CVC is a multipurpose retreat and sports and center ministering to youth and refugees and local churches who do not have their own facilities to gather. It is also the site for the "New Testament Studies" program where groups from all over the world come to stay as they follow in the footsteps of Paul as they travel to places such as Corinth and Ephesus.

George & Marcy Romeos

George and Marcy Romeos have served for the past 25 years at AMG's CosmoVision Center in Koropi, Greece, where George serves as director.

The Romeos' are actively involved in mentoring and consulting with local evangelical churches. George is a catalyst for creative evangelistic initiatives in Greece. He uses sports, church planting, and music as ways to share the gospel and excels at equipping nationals.

AMG Greece hosts many visiting mission teams and churches. These teams have the opportunity to serve in the ministry as well as pursue New Testament studies and follow in the footsteps of Paul.

In the past several years they have placed greater focus on the refugee crisis. They established "Homespots", which are places for refugees to gather for community, refreshment, Internet services, learn Greek and English and engage in bible studies. “Mobile Homespot” provides transportation connecting refugees to services such as medical care, local markets, government agency appointments and Homespot. They also planted a church for the refugees at the CosmoVision Center, where people from many different nationalities come to hear the gospel.
