How early should I arrive before a worship service?

Our Sunday morning worship services are at 9 and 10:45a.  We recommend arriving approximately fifteen minutes prior so that you’ll have plenty of time to find a parking space and a seat in the worship center. 

What do I need to do when I arrive?

We have visitor parking marked near our Main Entrance.  As you enter the facility, you’ll be greeted by a member of our 1^st Impressions Team (identified by an ID lanyard).  Our 1^st Impressions Team desires to greet you, direct you, and assist you with anything you might need when you arrive.  We encourage guests to stop by the Information Desk to pick up a gift before the worship service.  The gift is our way of saying “Thank You” for stopping by.  If you have children, we’d encourage you to arrive 20-25 minutes before the worship service so you can check them into our fully staffed, secure children’s ministry. 

What is the worship portion of the service like?

After the first or second song, a staff pastor will welcome guests, encourage them to fill out a Connection Card and lead us in prayer for the offering.  Our Worship Team uses a plurality of instruments and voices on the platform to lead us to God’s presence.  Drums, guitars, and keyboards are just a few of the instruments we use.  The choice of song and tempo is tailored to fit the overall service theme.  We sing songs written by such contemporary artists as Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, the Desperation Band, etc. The congregation is encouraged to participate in the service by standing, clapping, and singing. We usually have a “greeting time” shortly before the final worship song.

What kind of sermon will I hear?

Our teaching team is passionate about preaching through the Scriptures verse by verse.  A typical sermon lasts approximately 30-35 minutes and emphasizes tying biblical principles to life application.  The pastor’s outline is provided on PowerPoint and on an insert found in the worship folder.  Listeners are encouraged to follow along using their Bibles and taking notes. 

How should I dress?

Most of our members dress comfortably within a range from casual to business casual.  Our staff pastors generally wear a dress shirt with jacket and sometimes jeans.
