Noel Perry - Director of Student Spiritual Formation &

Ushers   

Noel oversees student spiritual formation through our small group and mentoring programs and manages ushers in the First Impressions Ministry. He has a BA from Purdue University and has post graduate training in biblical counseling.

Family: wife Kimberly, Children: Sydney, Brooke and Madisyn

Biggest influences:  Bruce Scheffer my mentor during my teen years, Harry Beamer taught me how to own my faith in my twenties, Lionel’s teaching has caused an explosion in my mind and heart by taking me from knowledge of to understanding of The Word.

Music in my car: Everything from CCR to Chis Tomlin. Classic rock has been a big part of my life journey but new chapters of life and teenage daughters has broadened my music taste significantly. I'll even enjoy a little country music once in a while.

Favorite Word: Those that encourage 

Least favorite word: “I” 

Sounds and Noise I love:  The call of sea gulls overhead as waves lap the shore

Noise I hate:  the squeal of tires right before a crash

Favorite Movies:  Finding Forrester, Dead Poets Society, Shawshank Redemption, August Rush, The Sound of Music and Avatar 3D

Spare Time: Hanging with my wife and kids, a day at the beach and traveling 

Best invention:  Car 

Another profession I’d like to try: Detective or Forensics  

A profession I never want to try:  Accountant 

Passions: Impacting lives for Christ, family, fast cars 

Biggest frustrations: pessimistic people and selfish people 

When I get to heaven I want to hear God say: It’s more what I would like to feel…the embrace of his arms around me.
