Moira Schnell - Administrative Secretary   

Moira is “the voice of Calvary”—the first person most people hear when they call or see when they visit the church office. Moira holds a BA in Business Administration and Speech Communication from Agustana College.

Family: Bill (husband), Children: Allison, Steven, Audrey

Biggest influences:  My loving husband who gives great advice and insight.  He is right more often than I like to admit. The many sisters in Christ that God has placed in my life.  Stormie O'Martian and her books on prayer. My former mentor Petie Larson.

Music in my car: I enjoy a wide variety of Christian music.  I normally enjoy female vocalists including Laura Story, Kari Jobe, Meridith Andrews, Natalie Grant, and Addison Road.  But recently I have grown to enjoy Sevenglory, Daniel Doss, Tenth Avenue North, Phil Wickham, and Chris Tomlin.

Favorite Word: Amazing, Love, Love, Love 

Least favorite word: When people use the Lord's name in vain.

Sounds and Noise I love:  The waves lapping on the shore at the beach or the waves crashing on the shore at the beach.  The sound of a waterfall.

Noise I hate: loud chewers 

Favorite Movies: Les Miserables, Australia, Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean 

Favorite books:  Bible, The Prayer that Changes Everything (Stormie O'Martian), Redeeming Love and Mark of the Lion Series (Francine Rivers) 

Spare Time: Hiking at the Dunes, Walking the Beach, Boating, Riding Bikes, Time with family and friends!

Best invention:  Ipods!

Passions: Prayer and encouraging others to believe and trust in the power of God. 

Biggest frustrations: When I am forgetful.  When people who only need to look the Lord, look to the world and other things for the answers.

When I get to heaven I want to hear God say: “I love you child, you will enjoy everlasting life with me.  Your life made an impact for my kingdom and you truly magnified my name.”
