“To win and disciple children for the glory of God” is the mission of Children’s Ministries at Calvary Church.  Our children’s classes are fun and enjoyable, yet always have a purpose, whether it is evangelism, Bible teaching, discipleship or worship.  Our desire is to see children have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to train them to know, love and serve the Lord for the rest of their lives.

Awana ::

Awana clubs resume Wednesday, September 3 at 6:30.  Please arrive 15 minutes early if you need to register.  All children ages 3 through 6th grade are invited to attend this weekly club.  Click the Awana link for more info.  

Calvary Kids ::

Calvary Kids, the music & drama group for K-5th graders, is gearing up for this year's children's Christmas musical "Mayhem in Bethlehem".  Signups & auditions are Sunday night, September 7th, 2008 at 6-7:30p.  Practices will take place each Sunday evening from 6:-7:30pm, with the performance on Sunday, December 14th, 2008 at 6pm.  We're looking forward to another great time of practice, fellowship, and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior!    For more information, contact directors Cori Goodfellow or Jami Garzella.  Visit the Kids Calendar for the latest on practice dates & times.

Basic Spiritual Training for Kids Class ::

Tracy Hillwig will teach another session of our 4-week course entitled "Basic Spiritual Training for Kids" each Sunday at 9:30AM from September 28 - October 19.   This course, suitable for 8-12 year olds, focuses on God's character, salvation, baptism, and following God's plan.  This is a terrific course for those childen interested in being baptized, as well as for those desiring a solid foundation on each week's topics.  Children should plan to attend each week as each lesson builds on prior lessons.   Enrollment is limited, so contact the office now to register. 

Children’s Welcome Center ::

Help us serve you better!  Each family with infant-5th grade children is requested to complete a brief “Children’s Registration Form”.  Please remember to complete a new form if your contact or child information changes.  Forms are located at the Children’s Welcome Center and can be returned there or to the church office.  Click on the Children’s Welcome Center page for more information.

Bibles, please! Parents, please encourage your school age children to bring their Bibles to Sunday School, Jr. Church and Awana.  They need them in class. Thanks!
