Next Class July 17, 2010-Turbo Catalyst One day only!
In an age where commitment is becoming less and less important, we are not afraid to challenge Christ-followers to commit to a local church. Both the Old and New Testament Scriptures provide ample support for local church membership.
Church membership expresses a desire...
- To be held accountable
- To be set apart (from unbelievers worshiping with the church)
- To be cared for and to belong to a community
- To persevere with the local church (through good times and bad)
- To become a minister in the church
‘ka-te-list = 1 a person or thing acting as the stimulus in bringing about or hastening a result

Our Catalyst Membership Class is designed to “front-load” information about our church so that visitors will have what they need to make an informed decision about their future at Calvary.
- required for membership (those taking the class are encouraged to consider committing to the church)
- offered approximately 3 times per year on Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings
- taught by our staff pastors
- 3-4 sessions built around our church’s 5 core values (Word, Worship, Walk, Work, Witness)
- Designed to prepare individuals to become ministry partners at Calvary
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. (Rom. 12:4-5, ESV)
