Awana is a mid-week program offered at Calvary as a means for partnering with parents in raising up and training their children. The Awana name comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which states, "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed". Awana meets on Wednesday nights throughout the school year from 5:45-7:45p, and is available to children ages 3 years old up through 5th grade. The program is divided into three segments: game time, handbook time, and council time. Registration for the 2014-2015 AWANA year will open August 17th. AWANA will begin Wednesday, September 3rd. Vacation Bible School is an awesome summer week of Bible stories, action-packed songs, memory verses, cool crafts, games and snacks. Adult and teen workers and children truly enjoy this exciting week of learning, crafting, serving, and lots of fun time together. Children ages K-5th grade are invited to participate. Calvary Kids is the children's choir and drama group at Calvary Church. Children in K-5th grade practice throughout the Fall for the Children's Christmas Musical. Registration will open for the 2014 performance on Sunday, September 14th at 3p. The performance will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2014 at 6p.
