The Women's Ministry at Calvary Church exists to help women grow in their love for God and each other. It is our heartfelt desire to help women of all ages connect with one another in various settings.
Periodic Bible studies for women are offered at Calvary Church. Click on the link at the bottom of the page for a current listing.
"Teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live...then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure...so that no one will malign the word of God." (Titus 2:3-5)
We understand the benefit of having another Christian woman walk beside you during some of the difficult times of life. Whether it be depression, marital tension, relationship conflict, or just the day-to-day struggles that women face, we want to encourage you in your journey. If you want more information or you desire to be connected with a mentor, please contact Jenn Huber (548.9520 or ) or Stacy Young (462.4026 or ).
'Sisters in (His) Service,' or 'SIS,' is one of the ways Calvary Church encourages and cares for its members as they experience a hospitalization, the death of a loved one, a wedding, or the birth of a baby. This is done in very practical ways such as preparing a meal for someone in need. If you have an interest in serving others and would like to be on the SIS team, please contact Mari Matthiesen (531.0099) or Cindy Hamilton (465.1844 or ).
Several large events are planned each year to give women an opportunity to connect with one another in an informal setting. Girlfriends Night Out is offered twice a month and meets in various local restaurants.
