We realize that plugging into a new church can be a daunting task for even the most outgoing person. For this reason, we want to make getting plugged in at Calvary as simple as possible. If you desire to become a part of our church family or at least want to find out what belonging to Calvary looks like, we suggest following these steps to plugging in:
This bi-monthly visitor reception provides an excellent opportunity for Calvary guests to meet our staff team, interact with them and meet others visiting our church. By attending a Coffee with the Pastors, you'll learn about the vision of our church and have the opportunity to ask our staff questions in a casual, non-threatening environment. Dress is casual, the coffee is hot, the desserts are tasty and the atmosphere is warm. If you are interested, please sign up.
Catalyst is designed to give you important information you’ll need when deciding whether to commit to Calvary and it will give you another opportunity to meet others that are new to the church just like you. The Catalyst curriculum is built around our church's five core values (Word, Worship, Walk, Witness) and taught by our staff pastors. It's offered quarterly in either a Wednesday evening or Saturday morning format.
We believe working for Christ is not only a mandate found in Scripture but it also comes with some great benefits. Working for Christ in the church helps us grow spiritually, builds the church and is fulfilling. Volunteer opportunities can be found in the Sunday morning worship folder or by talking to the staff person over a particular ministry.
This is the name of our small group ministry. At Calvary, we are deeply committed to seeing people grow in their relationship with Christ. We believe this best happens in the context of relationships that are committed to applying the truths of Scripture. Our small group ministry is the primary vehicle for discipleship and care within the Calvary family. Joining a small group is essential to getting connected with our church. New group sign-ups take place every Fall and at the first of the calendar year.
