Calvary's featured missionary for the month of May is Chris Marine. You are encouraged to pray for the Marines as our church focuses its prayer efforts on their ministry this month.
Chris provides pastoral care and help to missionaries serving in West Africa. Chris and Diane live in Niger and travel to different countries where they minister to the missionaries in areas of counseling, work projects, and encouragement.
Prayer Requests:
- Granddaughter Shelby-recovering from deep tissue infection. Pray for complete healing
- Protection for believers in Mali as rebels from the North are invading. Pray for safety, encouragement, and that God will use this for good.
- Safety and encouragement for missionaries that serve under the Marine’s supervision in western Africa—many are traveling to escape persecution. Some of their homes and churches have been destroyed.
- Students who work and go to school during the day and then spend the evenings in class with missionaries. Pray for them to be able to continue their education and spiritual growth.
- Blessing & comfort for those who are serving in western Africa as the weather is currently over 100 degrees and many areas are w/o electricity.
