An Evening of Hope and Melody Featuring Sevenglory with Special Guest Red Umbrella
Friday, February 13
Imagine if a $10 concert ticket could change someone’s life. On February 13 @ 7pm, two bands will put on a concert that does just that. Sevenglory, with special guests Red Umbrella, present An Evening of Hope and Melody, a benefit concert for the girls at Oasis Home in Guatemala.
Tickets are on sale now though February 12, 2015 at BrownPaperTickets.com for $10. You can buy them at the door on the night of concert for $15, if they don’t sell out. Doors open at 6:30pm.
The Oasis is residential home for young Guatemalan girls who have been forced into child labor or experienced abuse (or both). At the Oasis, the girls live in family units with Guatemalan house parents, go to school (many for the first time), and have access to trauma-focused therapy to heal emotional scars. They also get the legal support they need. Most importantly, they get the security of knowing they are loved and protected. That’s worth a whole lot more than $10, wouldn’t you say?
More good stuff to know:
Onsite food vendors will only accept cash.
Band merchandise tables will accept cash or card.
